A Walk in the Park

It's been a busy and stressful week both at home and at work. Our PC at home crashed, and hubby has spent countless hours (not to mention dollars) rebuilding, reformatting, reinstalling, reloading. It still doesn't work, seems to be an issue with at least one of the new components so it's now in the shop for diagnostics. Then I've been sewing like a demon trying to meet a quilting deadline, and work has been super busy with big deliveries of exciting new products, while the boss is away at a trade show. I'm feeling in serious need of some down time.

One way that I like to stress down is going for long walks. These photos were taken last fall while hiking through Campbell Valley Park, and t
ake me back for just a few moments of calm and serenity. Enjoy.

  2. Crud. Computers. I just lost half of my comment I had left. I wanted to say your photos are great and that I will have to stop by the shop one day and say hi.

You could have linked these photos up with Outdoor Wednesday. It is held at A Southern Daydreamer's blog and you just link up with her post for this day and your added to the list of blogs. Then bloggers visit back and forth knowing everyone is on the same topic. It brings some new people by your blog. If you ever decide to do one and need help let me know.

It cost me a follower. I guess it offended someone. Oh well the price of a good laugh.

  5. Good Morning Jean, (April 11 @ 9:30 AM)
I just stumbled upon your site...through facebook...through Aunt Ed...:) & wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading your blogs and seeing your pictures.
Your personal recipe for Mac & Cheese would be like reading my own description of a recipe creation, as I too use recipes as only guidelines and enjoy the creative process.
I'm thinking this similarity may be genetic ~ perhaps Grandma did the same.
    All the best,
    Your(long lost)cousin Dorothy
